The book focuses on five cell-surface peptidases, namely neutral endopeptidase (NEP)/CD10, aminopeptidase N (APN)/CD13, aminopeptidase A (APA)/BP1, dipeptidyl peptidase IV (DPPIV)/CD26, and placental leucine aminopeptidase (PLAP)/insulin-regulated aminopeptidase (IRAP), which are members of the type II membrane-bound peptidase family.
