The 11th edition of the BSAVA Small Animal Formulary has been launched at BSAVA Congress 2023, with both Part A:: Canine and Feline and Part B:: Exotic Pets released simultaneously.

Both parts have been revised and updated by the editorial panels, with 20 new drug monographs added to Part A and seven new drugs added to Part B.

The new version replaces the 10th edition, which was first published in May 2020. Fergus Allerton is again editor-in-chief of the canine and feline formulary, with Joanna Hedley once again overseeing the volume on exotic pets.

As the popularity of non-traditional companion animals grows, there is an increasing need for dedicated information on drug use in these animals. The BSAVA Small Animal Formulary, 11th edition – Part B:: Exotic Pets covers mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish.
