Saunders Comprehensive Veterinary Spellchecker works much like the speller used in Microsoft Word. The speller takes the form of a CD-ROM that, once the program has been installed, would not be needed again. After executing a few very simple steps (clear instructions are a key component), every time a veterinary word is typed in, it will be checked by the program. If the spelling is incorrect, the word will be underlined. Users will also be able click on to the Vet Speller icon to check whole passages/paragraphs. The speller contains all the words listed in the Saunders Comprehensive Veterinary Dictionary 2nd Edition, but without the definitions. All sub-headings are also included, as are abbreviations, acronyms and their full name.
