This issue is intended to bring together informed consideration of several emerging approaches to the treatment of psychiatric disorders of children and adolescents that affect brain function in the bioelectric domain. These interventions include repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation, electroconvulsive therapy, vagal nerve stimulation, and electroencephalographic biofeedback.
