The past 15 years has seen th inroduction of a whole new era pf arthroscopic surgery of the samller joints. Most of the arthroscopic instruments used to perform minically invasive surgery of the elbow have been developed in the past 5-7 years. It is difficult to learn because of the smaller space and the danger of injuring nerves, but the recovery time is greatly enhanced and the patients are demanding it.
