Myopia is the technical term for short sightedness. It means that images of distant objects are focused in front of the retina when accommodation is relaxed and thus distance vision is blurred. Many texts describe the measurement of refractive error in myopia and how to correct it by conventional means, but very few discuss the condition in detail. Our book will discuss::
