Radiation Medicine for the Oncologist, Part I, An Issue of Hematology/Oncology Clinics

Radiation medicine has evolved on several fronts over the past decade and is a useful adjunct in the definitive, adjunctive, and palliative therapy for several solid and hematologic malignancies. This issue coupled with the Part II publishing in April 2006 should de-mystifyand update the practicing oncologists on how best to incorporate the radiation medicine team into the evaluation and management of patients.
