This new addition to the popular Pearls Series presents 100 common and difficult neurologic case histories. Each patients case is followed by the physical examination and initial diagnostic impression which prompts the reader to derive his/her own preliminary diagnosis and plan for treatment. Laboratory findings are then given along with a detailed discussion of how the patient was diagnosed and the follow-up results. At the end of each case, valuable clinical pearls (major points) are provided.
Emphasis is placed on the physicians bedside evaluation. Helpful references are listed for further information on the particular disease/diagnosis presented in the case.
