Description
This book serves two distinctive functions. It can be used as a dictionary of immunology, an alphabetical listing of immunological terms at the front of the book pin-point, by page number, an explanation in the text, or, as a convenient revision guide forstudents and an aide memoir for clinicians. There are six chapters covering all aspects of immunology, as well as explanatory diagrams and tables that summarize essential data. Well planned page layouts make it easy for the reader to cross-reference withinthe book, thereby linking various aspects of the immune system. The index of terms is placed in front of the book after the table of contents, to ease its use as an illustrated dictionary. Terms are defined in alphabetical order within the section whereit is most logical that they should appear.
