Description
Continuous Peripheral Nerve Block is a new technique, originally developed in the USA and now becoming increasingly used in Europe. Its main use is in the management of postoperative pain, where it is both effective and of considerably value in the reduction of hospitalisation costs (i.e. the patient can be discharged earlier and safely monitored at home).
