Pediatric Oncology, An Issue of Surgical Oncology Clinics of North America

In this issue of Surgical Oncology Clinics, guest editors Drs. Jennifer H. Aldrink and Roshni Dasgupta bring their considerable expertise to the topic of Pediatric Oncology. Childhood cancers, while relatively rare, are a leading cause of disease-related mortality in children worldwide. Many pediatric malignancies-such as Wilms tumor, neuroblastoma, and rhabdomyosarcoma-require surgical intervention as a central component of therapy, whether for diagnosis, staging, tumor removal, or management of complications.
