This book includes three major sections:: general concepts in rehabilitation nursing, general concepts of care germane to rehabilitation nursing, and a section devoted to the nursing management of common disabling conditions. The final section looks at evolving rehabilitation nursing and considers research, health-care financing and international nursing. Throughout the book the main themes of rehabilitation in the community setting and culturally competent care are evident. Although adult clients are the main focus, there are separate chapters on geriatric and pediatric populations.
