MRCP candidates are required to have a basic knowledge of radiological interpretation as it applies to clinical practice. Radiology Cases for the MRCPcomprises 90 typical clinical cases which may be part of the photographic section of the MRCP Part 2 examination, or may require interpretation during a short or long clinical case. The answers include discussion points in the format of a clinical or oral examination, and clinical symptoms and signs are included wherever appropriate.
INTRODUCTION. BASIC RADIOLOGICAL INTERPRETATION. This will include basic advice on how to interpret the following images: a) Chest x-ray b) Abdominal x-ray c) Barium examinations d) Intravenous urograms e) Brain CT scans f) Isotope bone scans g) Isotope VQ scans
