LPN to RN Transitions

LPN to RN Transitions:: Career Mobility in Nursing is a text designed to fit a LPN to RN transition /articulation program. This text is written with a very practical approach. Unit One focuses on assessing the returning LPN/LVNs past professional and personal accomplishments as well as the goals that they would like to accomplish in nursing school. The text helps the student do this by providing several motivational exercises to complete. It also helps the students assess their academic skills and it provides several tools and resources to use throughout nursing school.

Unit Two presents the knowledge and skills needed for the role transition to a RN. The topics in this half of the text focus on the critical thinking, clinical and communication skills that the LPN/LVN needs to successfully transition to the RN role.
