Opis
Haematological oncology is a rapidly advancing and exciting field of medicine. To date textbooks on the subject either have been written primarily for doctors or address specific aspects of
haemato-oncology such as blood and marrow transplantation. This is the first British textbook addressing haematological oncology written specifically for nurses.

The book is divided into three separate but complementary sections comprising of; The Diseases; Treatment and Nursing Issues. This division should allow readers to easily locate a specific area of interest. There are many areas of overlap between the different diseases, their treatments and aspects of nursing care and consequently there is much cross-referencing between chapters. This should enable readers to dip into the book at different points to find relevant information without having to read the book sequentially. Reflection points, scenarios and discussion questions are included to stimulate reflection on practice and encourage discussion with colleagues, and further reading is suggested to broaden the readers knowledge base.
