Opis
Patient Education is a collection of explanations of common medical problems presented to GPs, written with the patient in mind in simple, non-technical terms. The book presents one page per condition so they can be photocopied and distributed by family physicians to their patients accordingly. Unique in concept at the time when it was first published in 1992, it has now set the standard for patient education materials in Australia and become a common sight on GPs? bookshelves. This new edition will have 35 new conditions, covering such topical issues as meningococcal meningitis and anthrax, as well as have a complete update throughout based on current medical regulations and medical research. Furthermore, the author is the most well-known and well-respected GPs and GP educators in Australia, made popular for his down-to-earth approach to medical education.
