Schools receive too little attention in the group work literature but they are settings in which groups play a critically important role presently and one that can be expanded in the future. This book demonstrates how group work is being used within schools, ranging from elementary through college and university levels. It emphasizes remedial as well as developmental and preventive applications of groups—including psychoeducation group formats—and gives attention to groups having an educational and career foci.
