American Drug Index 2006 on CD-ROM

This electronic version of American Drug Index 2006 contains an audio pronunciation feature and color photographs of more than 900 pills. This directory lists more than 22,000 prescription and over-the-counter products, with cross-indexing of trade names, generics, and drug classes. Also included are manufacturer, pronunciation, active ingredients, dose form, strengths, packaging, and uses. The comprehensive index includes a listing of drugs that should not be crushed or chewed, drug names that look alike or sound alike, storage requirements for USP drugs, a trademark glossary, and normal laboratory values, along with several other tables of hard-to-find information.
